Counselling

We offer counselling to any member of the family who needs help to cope with the emotional impact of their situation

Camp Simcha has provided approximately 500 counselling sessions each year, giving families a safe space to channel the complex range of emotions they may be experiencing.

This particular Camp Simcha service was an outlet for all the emotions we were struggling so hard to contain. My family counsellor was, and still is, my pressure valve. Counselling cannot change the prognosis for my daughter; it cannot make her well. However, it has helped me and my family find a way to accept our new reality and live each day as it comes.
